APTS in Fort Worth TX
Wyndham Pointe was the absolute worst experience we've ever had. We dealt with waste water flooding our apartment from kitchen to laundry room through dining room and between the walls separating apartments, toxic sewer gases seeping into our apartment, severe mold due to shoddy repairs of leaving wood, drywall and flooring soaked with waste water, raw sewage including feces and toilet paper outside the building, toilets, tubs, sinks, dishwasher and washing machine backing up with nasty waste water, paint and flooring peeling due to the mold off and on for the entirety of our lease. We all suffered for months and made several doctors visits due to sickness from mold allergies and toxic sewer gases. After several attempts to *fix* the issue and lies from management and maintenance about work that was going to be done in our apartment - we had had enough and gave a written notice including previous correspondence and photos 3 months before our lease was up as the office refused our request to be released from the lease agreement. Not only did they deny receiving a notice from us (which was also sent to corporate which referred us back to the Wyndham Pointe management to deal with), they denied even knowing about the issues at all because our original complaint wasn't in writing (trying to deny the fact that we had grounds to end our lease), they sent us a bill for reletting fees, cleaning (!), and 3 months rent for not finishing out our lease. They *should* have record of ALL of our calls, service requests, complaints, letters, emails and pictures in our file - not to mention the fact that through this entire ordeal our rent was paid on time every single month by or on the 1st. To top it all off - our very last week there someone bashed in several vehicles tail lights with a bat. Security is pretty much nonexistent. Medera Residential claims to be community orientated, to care greatly for their tenants and a very Christian company. This is simply not true. The bottom line to them is the almighty dollar. They don't care whatsoever for their tenants.
