DR Horton Frisco
Do you like living in the suburbs but with all the city conveniences? Would you like a new home that has all the bells and whistles but not the high cost? If your answer is “Yes!”, Then I invite you to take a look at Abbey Crossing with me.
First-time homebuyers, empty nesters and those who just enjoy the great outdoors can truly appreciate Abbey Crossing, a D R Horton Express Community near Anna, Texas. This new home community has been open for about 18 months and has sold out its Phase I and sold more than 50% of Phase II already. Lots in Phase III should be available for sale in the December 2016 or January 2017 timeframe.
#1 Price
With prices starting in the high $190’s, Price is the first thing to like about this community. Finding good properties under $200k anywhere in the metroplex is a challenge nowadays. Finding new construction homes at this price is almost unheard of. Prices in this community start at $197k for the single-story San Antonio Plan at 1, 566 SF and go up to $240k for their two-story Galveston Plan at 2, 566 SF.
Thus, my #1 favorite thing to like about Abbey Crossing is its Price.
#2 Location
Location, Location, Location! Abbey Crossing is conveniently located on Hwy 380 (University Drive) about seven miles east of Hwy 75 (North Central Expressway aka NCX) at the intersection of Monte Carlo Blvd. Hwy 75 is one of the few remaining freeways in the area that is still free to drive keeping your cost of living low as well. If you work in McKinney, Plano, Richardson, Dallas, Garland areas or even Greenville, this is a great location if your budget is in the low $200’s range and you would like a new construction home.
The location is my #2 favorite with its easy access to downtown on an actual freeway.
#3 Community Amenities
Is a feeling of community important to you? Do you enjoy visiting with your neighbors at the pool or splash park, or maybe walking in the large green belt? This community features these amenities and more. The community pool, splash park, playground and large green belt are already built, waiting for you to close on your next new home.
Many new communities in this price range no longer include pools or splash parks in the community, and that is why Community Amenities is #3 on my list.
